Sultry Fibs – Day 306, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz

A Sultry gaze will always fail to pierce through the cement wall I’ve built over the years,
Protecting a heart brittled by lies I’ve had to pretend were true,
Until I’ve decided to recognize them for what they truly are.
Sirens screeching through halls they’re not welcomed to roam,
In a mind looking for peace,
Silence.
My palms no longer gravitate towards breasts,
Hips,
And,
Thighs.
Just,
A journal along collections of pens writing stories about my soul’s void a kiss of death could not suffice.
And,
I must say,
I like this new version of myself.
A man who desires a woman’s love,
Instead of a climax as I’m put on a shelf,
As soon as we’re done swapping fibs while I lay back wishing I can turn back time,
Dwelling on why I keep putting myself through hell…
