An empty gas tank tends to form me into a languid bibliotaph uninterested in reading any stort falling into my lap,
Too weak to bear the weight of.
It isn’t like it was years ago,
Where I’d fight in urgency when dealing with an energy bar running low.
Nowadays,
I’d rather put my controller down,
Accept my losses,
And,
See what tomorrow brings while I gear up for the win of a lifetime.
What I’ve learned after every loss?
How auspicious it is to lose,
And,
Propitious it becomes to move forward with new found knowledge,
We wouldn’t find in continuous victories most of us get lost in.
Victories I look forward to after a good night’s sleep,
Swimming in a sea of dreams I’d often dive in with,
A grin so priceless…
