A Poet’s Obituary – Day 167, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz

A loner who rose from the ashes against all odds.
A man who lived a destitute life.
Yet,
A Pulitzer prize winner for poetry you will only witness once in a lifetime.
A man who nobody likes,
But,
Never gave a fuck with a smile!
While doing his best to put a tear of joy within every set of dry eyes he would come by.
A brave soul who would put his life on the line,
For truth most feared with a bad habit of shuteye.
A guy not many will miss,
But,
A soldier you had no other choice,
But,
To respect.
A poet till the very end,
Regardless of circumstances naysayers would present.
Although as solitary as he was,
His heart was full of love,
Of the tough variety the average individual would push!
To the side.
What else can I say besides,
Him being a survivor of suicide.
Eluding death as much as possible since birth on a table his Mother was on while under the knife.
What a pleasure it was to be acquainted with a fighter.
Someone who wouldn’t allow you to quit,
In a world full of liars who bitched,
And,
Moaned about a breezy life they were given.
Not to mention his addiction,
To trees and flowers he admired more than phony politics in,
Each face within a mass of zombies under the fingertips of,
Puppet Masters playing everybody like a tiny fiddle.
A lyricist splitting every crab in the bucket down its middle.
For sponging off of a table full of more food than they can chew…
