Never The Question – Day 326, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz

To be,
Or not to be?
Is never the question now that I am.
I’ve accepted how God molded me into the writer I was hesitant to be.
No matter how nervous I was at the Monday mic,
I pulled through.
Tuesday was a hit and miss,
But,
Two mics on a Wednesday gave me the spark to tear each house down.
Thursday’s set was spicy!
Cooled down by the love I received from friends I didn’t think I’d have ever since I broke up with the only woman I’ve dated…
I am.
I am a writer.
I am grateful to keep myself in line,
On a page soaken wet by tears,
I’ve allowed to quench my thirst for more than nothingness.
Such a beautiful week overall,
Through ups and downs turned into a story,
A poem from the header of a page,
To the footer.
A bottom space I’ve been to,
Too many times to bear.
