Forgot To Do My Laundry – Day 310, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz

Redressing my wrong doings in a fashion I’m confortable with is not what my focus should be.
I can change my jacket all I want,
But,
It won’t stop me from getting soaked in pouring rain,
As acidic as each tear dropping from my cheeks,
Flushed by bad calls all of us make once in a while.
I’d rather wear the last shirt in my cabinet even if it’s the one that doesn’t fit best.
As it is my fault for not doing laundry sooner by choosing to forget,
My responsibilities.
What does it matter,
Anyway?
Attention isn’t what I’m looking for.
More so,
What I seek is atonement knowing one day I’ll be knocking on Death’s door,
No matter how uncomfortable it is to acknowledge how I’ve made the people I love,
Cry,
Once upon a time…
