“Somewhere in the world,
There’s at least one person who doesn’t know they’ll have one less finger by the end of the weekend!”
Is what I read on a post made on social media,
Rising up my level of anticipation for this year’s July fourth festivities.
Not for the potential loss of a knuckle,
Or,
Two,
But,
For brighter lights I haven’t seen in the chamber of darkness descending above me after-hours until I have no where else to go,
But,
The deepest depths of a mind impossible to figure out.
Fireworks I’d beg God to set off internally every single morning I wake from a slumber I yearn for tol often as I’d like to.
With the plethora of decisions I’ve made blowing up in my face,
I’m surprised I haven’t lost any limbs myself.
All I could do is,
Laugh…
And,
Pray that I see more to life besides what feels like an everlasting Hell…
