Romance died the moment self-love was introduced.
Never heard of it once as a young gun possessing a mind fully loaded with an itch to shoot,
Off from a mouth as dicey as a gamble,
Full of loot we bounce wall to wall for.
The drive we wake up with is driven off course,
For what we can gain to fill a wallet lost in a storm,
Of tears dripping without the Eye,
In sight,
While we drown within our lion’s roar,
Knowing none of us are kings,
Nor,
Queens in a jungle being burnt down by the war against love ensued by,
Our inability to care for more the further desensitized we become.
My only question is,
Who will rise?
Who will fall?
The closer we get along lust being at the forefront of our blurred vision…
