Lonely Sunday Drives – Day 256, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz

The lonely road.
Our spirits were never built for it,
But our mind and flesh adapt for each bump we drive over as a means of survival,
Unless we wish to die.
I get it…
How disappointing it is to wake up with no one by your side.
How our lips ache for another’s before laying our heads down at night.
How silence becomes too silent,
As the lightbulb in the room makes itself heard until you scratch at the past long enough to cry.
But,
All in due time.
Sometimes,
God seperates us from our innocent desires to get back on track a life we’ve neglected over guilt we refuse to face.
All because of how deserving we shouldn’t feel until,
Our wounds are no longer bleeding on the hearts of others…
