It Was Never Scary – Day 255, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz

Darkness consumes every space behind any door you’re reluctant to enter.
But,
How will you ever know what truly lies on the other side,
Besides going inside,
And,
Witnessing for yourself?
Our presence isn’t welcomed everywhere we go,
Yet,
There is no other way to know,
Other than enduring an answer we must find,
Before that curiosity eats us alive.
Because,
Most of the time there are no monsters over the fence to fend off.
Even if we find ourselves in the dark,
The light we exude is enough to illuminate a room when our lightbulb is set off,
As soon as we see what we’ve outgrown…
For me,
It was an arcade I’ve been hesitant to enter after years of avoiding the outside world.
Leaving just a few minutes after when realizing what I truly desire.
The truth in a poem without a single swirl of smoke in front of my eyes.
No games,
Just,
Peace while I take in the breeze,
Having faith in what lies beyond the sky…
