Biases occur more often than,
Others caring more for another’s crisis in,
Hopes they heal every wound drowning everyone surrounding them,
In their own shallow waters.
We may hurt each other no matter the price is,
And,
It’s disappointing when you’re trying to have faith in humanity thriving.
Yet,
There’s no cure quite like forgiveness along a hand pulling someone out of darkness they’ve wandered through,
Longer than anyone should anytime our screws loosen into a somber view,
Of life while shaken by a tragedy.
But,
Forgiving isn’t what most do when we’re lost in our vanity.
We become more like a mannequin,
And,
Toy with another’s sanity,
As we present our sorrow for the world to see…
