Trauma’s been a reflex I’ve been trying to exterminate from memories my muscles gathered involuntarily.
Every whiplash,
Scar,
Tear running down my cheeks so cold making the entirety of my body shiver,
Is an experience I will never forget.
Murdered in cold blood was my foresight from each tremor in the ground caused by the stomping cries of a child longing to live child-like.

From what I’ve seen,
Rebirth is possible.
We may die inside from not being watered enough,
Yet,
With a new seed planted,
My glass half full should do the trick.
As life grows into what it should’ve been,
In ways I’ve never seen it before…
