Delusions of grandeur is something I promise myself to never fall back into regardless of where my life stands at any period in time. It’s something I hope never poisons the heart of anyone with intentions to love others around them even when it stings most. Because, with how much darkness every ounce of delusion drowned any kind of happiness away from my face for as long as I can remember, I wouldn’t wish that pain on my worst enemies.
After a while, you’ll realize how much you would rather see everyone around you smile for whatever reason they choose. You would rather see others rejoice in peace rather than witnessing everybody’s soul ripped into pieces on a sidewalk horrendously marred by our generational deterrence from serenity. Why?…
It’s just, better that way. You’ll feel more freedom in a world the rich are attempting to burn away with their spoils ignited by their quest to alter one another’s vision for the ultimate power, whatever that may be at this point. No longer will we suffer from spiritual death by chimeras with a breath of fire we’ve been forced to inhale as a sacrifice for their own freedom to roam however they please. The more we allow their illusion of Utopia to hinder our manifestations of joy, the more we all die in the inside, feeding off of our own carcasses as the animals we were labeled.
Now…
Why would we give anyone that pleasure? By swimming in a pool of deceit, all we do is splash waves of lies in each other’s face in a Rat Race that never existed in the first place. The real prize has always been the grasping of contentment not a single weeping soul has found in any sort of financial gain. I’ve seen more peace in two palms connected by tranquility than one’s throat filled with molten gold. I’ve seen more peace and joy in two lips intertwined by love than lips scorched by chalice vines plucked from the fields of Hell. I mean, just think for yourself. When have you ever seen someone with nothing to hide jovial when abandoning their beloved for wealth that will never transfer over to the afterlife? I sure as hell haven’t…
But, I suppose we all learn the hard way, eventually. In due course, we will see the bloody mess we leave behind on a road where we drive not past, but through who we see as our competition. And, regardless of what our goal is, we all have a choice whether to control the traffic, leading each other to our destinations safely, or play the game. See what Twisted Metal is in real time for a limitless wish all of us can have if we just, unplug. Turn the game off and have fun with what is in front of us already….
