Yea, Yea… I used to believe that I was invincible, Until my soul was peppered by lacerations only God had the love, And, Power to stitch back together. So much love God had for me, To allow my mind, And, Heart to bleed out every bit of disdain I couldn’t weather. Until I acknowledged the only one who reigns. A wrestling match against an opponent I couldn’t pin down till the end count of three, Until I had crossed a road full of pain I was commanded to endure. Trials I had to finish, Forcing me to realize just how human I was, Understanding the beauty in which I, Along everyone else, Was made with no matter the scars we’re haunted by… It’s about time, We realize, How easily a knife can penetrate our eyes, Driving us to to see with our heart, Instead of vision marred by a plethora of lies, Many of us die for. Because, Once it’s over, It’s over. Without ever receiving a ticket back from damnation we’ve chosen through the false belief, Of being almighty ourselves…
