Being buried in groceries was better than staying home with your face glued to a television screen while immersed in a lie…
Nowadays,
We accept the falsifified reality because of its convenience while blue light,
Beams into our eyes,
Making us feel sadder as each day passes by.
Staring into our reflection for a moment,
Before tapping “confirm” on a cellphone bound to die,
Along our fleeting spirit.
Running away from what made us human to begin with.
Who am I kidding?
We’re in a different day and age where survival is not only for the fittest.
