Loneliness.
It’s a difficult task designed for those destined to lead entire generations.

Why do I have to face it?
On most days,
I abhor it with every fiber in my being.
I wasn’t ever a good student in the first place with procrastination as my first solution to every difficulty life has thrown my way.
But,
I’m here,
Alive and well.
Without much to complain about,
Anyway.

Wish I had someone to hold,
Someone my heart knows I’ll grow old with regardless of any circumstance.
Someone to hug whenever the day has gone bad,
Spoiled by my own rotten behavior.
But,
Loneliness.
For some reason,
God told me to endure it.
