Just,
Godzilla in a different costume.
Beasts to be feared depending on the occasion.
But,
Nowadays,
I’m not afraid of either.
What were once a malevolent force in my mind,
Are now humps in memory I stroll past,
Benign,
Left behind…
What does it mean to look ahead,
Stay in the moment,
Think about what happened several years back when,
I can just be what I was intended to be?
For all I know,
This reality may not even be real!
It might be an illusion painted on to a pair of pupils when they attempt to find an answer for thoughts leaving me confused,
Without ever knowing why…
Moments like these,
I’d just,
Rather close my eyes.
And,
Dream.
Dream on until I create the world I’ve always wanted to see.
A world where there is no past
Present,
Nor future as I sway my pen,
Back and forth,
For eternity…
