Prize Nobody Wants

You can’t imagine all the pain that I bear.
While everybody thinks I’m an animal feeding off of despair,
All I am is just a man grown sick and tired of looking for apologies others wouldn’t care to give.
So,
I’ve isolated.
Stayed away what would not embrace me while aggravated,
By a dysfunctional family,
Demons who rather bestow insanity upon me!

As a man that doesn’t matter while ecstatic for his apparent status in society,
Glad that my presence isn’t prized while they kick my rib in trying to silence me.
Take away my opportunity to ride this beat inside of me by writing each pound from my chest into poems that your eyes can see,
So that I can see,
What I can be
If I just breathe!…

In and out…
Like the knife I used to dream about while,
Dripping a boat-load of tears quenching the thirst of a beast allowed,
A second chance to live.

Intent to teach a kid,
How to be brave in this,
World trying to degrade you and,
Break you by doubting the Ace in your pocket…

Outclassing haters is your only option!
Always careful with my letters when I’m tested by the offset,
Offered by a God I’ve honored through a due process,
By being busy,
Shooting shots at an industry of rappers.
Keeping my word!
No Bacardi bottles I divorced a while ago to start climbing up a ladder,
Never meant for the weak.
Ends meet when you let go of what you are and be,
What you choose to be!
Every night you aren’t scared enough to,
Dream…
