Blood pressure rises,
But,
What we want is to bring it back down,
And,
Keep it at the lowest level possible until it’s time to run towards that horizon,
At the end of a tunnel we’re all inside of…

Paths chosen for us by every decisive moment had,
Within a subconscious we don’t have much control over as much as we’d like to.
A world we can’t see unless we close our eyes,
And,
Focus on a dream fading away as soon as our eyelids,
Open at our spirit’s discretion…

But,
A journey well worth the time,
If we’re busy feeding our minds with,
Food for thought healthy enough to compel darkness to dissipate as we shine light,
Upon truths so difficult to swallow…

Why wallow over how we think life should be,
When we can just seize the day and believe,
That everything will be okay if we’re blessed to wake up tomorrow?…
