Enjoying anything in life is harder than it seems when,
All you feel is dejection.
Dejection others turn a blind eye toward regardless of affection they may have for you.
How do I smile when watching a movie?
How do I laugh at a joke I find funny without forcing it?
How do I even eat food and feel satisfied without,
Having to smoke some weed I no longer desire,
Truly?
How do I end my night without being clouded by memories of people who wouldn’t choose me,
Over their wish to eliminate my existence over flaws all of us have,
No matter what lie we choose to see?
As our escape from a reality we’ve tainted ourselves through the darkness we display.
Darkness none of us can escape,
Unless,
We are brave enough to face our pain…
