Just In Case

Ever wanted to leave a note,
Just in case?
A simple note just saying,
“Hey,
I’m sorry for doing what I did.
I didn’t mean to keep drinking those drinks,
Even though I knew I probably wouldn’t wake up again…”
I know,
So grim.
But,
You never know which bottle that’ll put you to sleep for good,
With how far you want to run away from here,
Sometimes…
Just a note answering their question.
Why?
Before they can utter that one word that haunts us all…
