New love!
Daunting on a lonely soul like mine,
Along a heart shattered over ties untied,
By what I promised I would not become,
Over memories looped in my head of all the wrongs I’ve done.
But,
I’m just a guy trying to find himself like any other.
Who wouldn’t want a woman by his side to experience life’s wonders with,
And,
Love her with every ounce of passion they can muster?
Question is,
Will anyone ever see that I’m not a monster with a hunger for,
The tears of another?
May have had my bad moments,
But,
I work on each flaw I was given as a trial of pain I let pass when I’m smothering a page.
I just,
Want to add a Queen to my story as I crown myself with a smile that’ll never go away…
