Being distant was already a quality in some of us way before any pandemic.
Being home every day,
From day to night,
Whether dark or light,
Is what broken hearts already do!
And,
They’re as common as,
The next lie America knows!
You will believe,
While you label it “true”…

With so many realities unable to be faced,
I see why so many wear a mask so comfortably.
Funny how most hide from who they really are,
Anyway!
So,
It means nothing to me!
I just,
Miss the human touch,
As I find myself puffing on trees.
But,
As I hooked up with Mary Jane,
She told me why everyone seemed to be running from me!
