To Whom I May Marry One Day

She speaks in Poetry,
Coercing me to smile often…
A grin I’ve left in a coffin,
While I rest,
Every night,
Hoping God would defrost this…
Ice block he placed exactly where my heart is…

Numb to Emotion,
I’ve been,
As I lie in another’s deceit.
But,
She makes me feel again,
When she recommends,
My hands to wrap around her waist and release,
All the tension that’s been weighing on my shoulders,
In the form of a kiss…
