Eagle eyes everywhere we go.
No where to run,
No where to hide while surveilled for the things we know,
But,
Aren’t supposed to.
From school halls,
Street lamps and telephone booths,
To the workplace and back home as they calculate our every move.
What are we to do?
So many heads looking down at a cellphone while locked in a state of mind “They” have approved.
They,
Whose names we will never truly learn,
No other choice,
But,
To accept how the world will burn.
Incinerated by our choice to join a rat race just,
To see who will turn into ash first…
