I find myself asking often, "What am I doing with my life?" And, I don't really know why. I'm a writer, poet. I perform as many times as I possibly can throughout the week. I have a job allowing me the free time to be myself. What do I really have to complain about? Sure,... Continue Reading →
Waiting For Sunrise – Day 136, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz
Sometimes,Our own thoughts are treacherous.Traitors to every fiber in our being that makes us who we are.A glitch within a game we're forced to play and handle our cards right. And,As much as we try to override images we don't want to see,Our objective isn't to have control,But,To breathe.Have faith in what we're guided to do... Sweet Sounds Of Russian Roulette – Day 133, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz
Memories pop into mind like,A game of Russian Roulette. Each one,Anxiety-ridden.Sweat beads down my forehead at every turn of events.Never do I know which one will coerce me to pull the trigger,But,I figured,It's a risk that must be taken. What other thrill do I have besides,Going through a photobook imprinted in my mind,As I pick at every... A Calcified Heart – Day 132, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz
Ossified by the inner depths of a soul I've grown too weary to understand. But,What other option is there besides softening a core I can't bear to tighten much longer?Rigid I've been,War-torn by an abyss full of monsters I have not been able to see.Yet,Alive I still am.Bruises,Cuts,Wounds left open for decades until my vessel has... Muse I’ve Never Wanted – Day 131, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz
Your eyes are like,Looking into peonies and roses. Under moonlight during the spring, With a night sky tattoed by stars,Bright enough to outshine the City fog.Gorgeous,Surreal.But,I'd rather stay away,And,Admire what created you in the first place.A God that loves me the way I desire you to love me.As alone as I am,If I get lost... Snowpiercer – Day 130, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz
My mind is like,A train looping into the tracks of a rollercoaster. Two destinations. Two places I don't desire to be in,But,Have no other choice besides living amongst crows soaring,Above my nightmares and dreams… Crows rustling behind bushes and weeds,In hoods robbing me of joy I grieve,Everyday,Passing by as fast as the hourhand on a clock I... Piercing Gaze Of Victory – Day 129, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz
Doubts are like,Gargantuan stakes piercing through a veil of sheer faith propelling us through vampiric trials,Put forth by a Universe under no one's mortal control.Looking down on one's self is trivial,Needless,Tiresome as our undying task is to look up even after the day we're deceased. For no corpse is buried nor cremated face down,Staring into the... Keys To The Labrynth – Day 128, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz
Run the course! As complicated as the labrynth gets. It's a challenge,But,As long as you manage,Your way around it with as much damage your body can endure,The gain is greater than drowning inside of a Tsunami poured,From each corner of your eyes… There isn't much time to clamor over your mistakes.I,Promise each bump on a road to... Lost Love In The Same Sea – Day 127, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz
She fell in love with a Wanderer,Never knowing where he'd end up next.Confused by every step he'd take,She'd brace herself each time her cellphone rang,Anticipating the worst news possible. But,For as long as her mind allowed her to remember,His voice pushed soundwaves into her eardrums as soothing as chilly breeze on a hot,Summer day."I'm in front... Heist Of The Century – Day 126, Never Give Up On Your Dreamz
Supervening intentions cloud His mind as his eyes feast upon a table littered with gold he'd never seen before.Should he dab and dip?He asked. With a stash and print,His fingertips on what was already dirty in the first place? Self-made,Is the dream. But,A shell made of a thief,Is what was left in place in a mind who... Continue Reading →
