Honered, I am, for you to have traveled all the way into my own milky way of words! You’ve happened to come across a Universe of words made by the one & only, Melodic! I’m a poet hailing from Washington Heights on a mission to pounce on a dream unseen by others around me ever since I was a toddler. Although I stroll the lands of Washington Heights, I’m originally from the boogie-down South Bronx, the birthplace of our beloved Hip-Hop. With an upbringing filled with more darkness than light, dealing with poverty, attending public schools with nothing more to offer but their lies while coming back home to a Father yearning for a new family, the mission had been simple, yet turbulent. Escape the grips of Insanity and introduce a new world of peace to myself…
Many of the tragedies I’ve endured are so common, though. Sure, I’ve had my own cases of homelessness, starvation and depression, but there is only one solution to it all. Finding peace within yourself and loving what is seen in front of your mirrors. And that’s all what I inspire others to do with their lives while rejoicing with their families…
So, without further ado, I’d like to open my doors of tearful, joyful, funny, and heartwarming memories so that we can all see there is always a brighter picture at the end of every Tunnel in our lives.
